Weekend Run Down

We had really busy weekend last week. On Friday we went to Wenatchee to take some drivers there, and Tyson and I went to Applebee’s for diner. I was so happy to see most of my coworkers and see how they are doing. On Saturday we went swimming with Libbie and the girls, I had so much fun playing with the kids, it was so hard to get me out of the water (and I was left with bad sunburn too). In the afternoon we attended Scott Miller’s wedding, which was really fun. After that Jarred (Tyson’s friend) invited us to his house for a BBQ; we had a great time hanging out with him and his family. And unfortunately, we don’t have any pictures of the events, just good memories.

Crazy life

Travels
I got home from Bulgaria on Sunday after 26 hours of travel (it is good I am used to it), and I started work the next day soooo crazy, but Tyson just wanted it me to spend as much time as possible in Bulgaria with my family (what a thoughtful husband I have).I had a great time on my trip and I am going to post some more pictures in my next post
New car
Yes, we have a new car and I love it, it is brand new and so cute. What happened is that our previous car was broken and was going to cost more to fix than the actual price of the car (which happens to us all the time). So, Tyson said that he will look for a car on Saturday and might buy one. And when I called from the airport I found out we got a new car. Here is a picture of it, no doubt my husband did a pretty good job I am just so surprised that he got a new one, but I am happy, and that is what matters.

Party
On Tuesday was my sister-in-law Meghan’s d-day party I had so much fun, that was the first time I saw my sister-in-laws since I left for my trip, and it made me realize how much I missed them and love them. If you want to find out more about the party and see more pictures visit Libbie’s blog.

Birthdays

I love coming to Bulgaria in May, because there’s a lot going on in this month, including my mom’s birthday, as well as some of my other friends.

On May 20th, which is my mom’s birthday, we went out to have a girl’s day; we got our hair done, went to a restaurant with my grandma, then shopping, meeting up with friends and dinner with my dad. I just want to say that I have an amazing Mom and I feel so blessed to be her daughter. I love you Mom.

Two Hot Ladies

May 19th was my friend’s birthday, her name is Didi, and she is really cool. We had picnic in Kailuka (the park from my previous post) and played ball. I love Didi she came home from her mission few months ago (she served in Temple Square) and I am really proud of her.

Picnic with the family

My parents wanted to go to the park so we decided to have a picnic and just enjoy the weather and the beautiful nature. So we packed up some food and we went out, it was so nice, just relaxing, walking and talking with my family. Here are some pictures of us and of the nature, it is really pretty.

Gergiovden

Yesterday was Gergiovden or St. George’s Day (in English), it is celebrated in Bulgaria on the 6th of May and traditionally roast lamb (usually whole) is eaten on this day. St. George, the dragon slayer is celebrated as the patron saint of livestock.
I really like this holiday it is all about seeing family and spending time with them and also it is one of the few holidays I get to spend with my family. So my parents and I went to the village to celebrate. I saw my grandparents, got to hang out with my cousins and the food was great.
